Announcement of the winners of our annual Photo Competition.
The competition celebrates the photographers and athletics action they capture, week to week within Australia. There were 57 entrants and over 4,000 votes cast by visitors to our site to determine the winners.

First time entrant Kylie Nyssen captured this great steeplechase water jump shot in the U20 men’s event at the 2023 Australian Championships in Brisbane. Kylie’s photo gained 309 votes.

- Each photographer can enter up to 2 photos per category
- Photos must be your own
- Entries are open to Australian and New Zealand residents only
- Photos must be taken between 10 April 2022 and 2 April 2023 (inclusive)
- Entries close 11:59pm on Friday 7 April.
- A popular vote via this website determines the placings in the competitions
- Voting opens after entries close and finish 11:59pm 9 April
- Prizes for photographers: 1st $150, 2nd $50, paid in Australian dollars
