Middle-distance star Olli Hoare has equalled his own Australian indoor record with a third-place finish at the prestigious Wanamaker Mile in New York.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a breakout year in 2022, which included becoming the first Australian winner of the Wanamaker Mile – the feature event of the annual Millrose Games.
Later in the year in Brimingham, he joined the legendary Herb Elliott as the only Australian men to win 1500m gold at a Commonwealth Games.
