We’re run a tipping competition each Nationals for the past couple of years, and we know sometimes it can be tricky choosing who to tip in each and every event. So we’ve streamlined this year’s competition.
For each event, just pick whether the favourite will win, or not.
For the sake of this competition, we’ve given ‘favourite’ status to the Australian athlete in the entry lists with the best performance from this domestic season. We also let you know the form of a few of the other top competitors in each event.
So even if you don’t think you have a chance of winning, enter the comp so you can preview the action that will take place at the Australian Championships – the 100th edition – from Thursday 30 March to Sunday 2 April.

Winners will be determined based on the number of correct answers, with a tie-breaker question (the winning time in the women’s 400m) being used to separate equal scores.
