A front running performance from Russell Dessaix-Chin secured the Sydney University athlete the NSW 10,000m title, with his 29:35.80 run seeing him lap the entire field.
Sixth placegetter at the Beijing Olympics, Youcef Abdi, was an easy winner of the 3000m Steeplechase with a run of 8:38.23 ahead of the ACT's Brett Robinson (8:55.51) and Matthew Cox (9:17.56).
The women's 800m was a closely fought affair, with Sianne Toemoe triumphing with a negative split performance of 2:05.68 ahead of Victoria's Erica Fountain (2:06.27) and Kelly Young (2:06.90).
It was a close race in the men's 400m, with Kevin Moore taking line honours with a run of 46.17 seconds. In second was David Burke in 46.49s, while Alex Carew was third in 46.63s.
Teenager Kurt Jenner was the winner of the long jump title, with his wind-assisted leap of 7.62m (+2.5) enough for a four centimetre win from Shaun Fletcher.
In the blue riband event, the 100m, Anthony Alozie showed the field a clean pair of heels with a run of 10.48 seconds (+0.0). Alozie had won both his heat (10.76s, -1.5) and semi-final (10.60s, -1.7) in convincing fashion along the way. Isaac Ntiamoah (10.52) and Liam Gander (10.62) took out the minor medals in the final.
Jeremy Roff took out a tactical 1500m final, covering the final 800m in 1:54, to claim victory ahead of Lachlan Chisholm 3:50.41 to 3:50.48. In this photo Roff crosses the line after an easy heat victory.
Laura Cornford took out the women's javelin with a throw of 56.50m ahead of Karen Clarke (49.07m) and Kelsey-Lee Roberts (43.83m).
Amy Pejkovic was second in the high jump with a leap of 1.75m, with Trudy Thompson taking the win with a 1.80m clearance.
