Brussels

Well it was a quick turnaround from traveling back from Luzern to Cologne then travel to Brussels! But that was my Friday and it was smooth enough, just a long day.


Matt, Brendan and I made the trip to Brussels for the Belgium National Championships. I competed on Saturday in the heats of the Women’s 100m, and ran a solid race of 11.59 (1.9w), didn’t execute too well but got the job done and made it through to the final being the fastest qualifier. It was a massive day on Friday of travel, even though I was feeling fine, it was just the underlying tiredness that did make me flat, to be expected though!

800m world record holder David Rudisha is set to again commence his season in Australia, competing over 400m at he Sydney Track Classic and 800m at the Melbourne Track Classic.
Alana Boyd was the standout performer of the Adelaide Track Classic, jumping to a new personal best of 4.61m.
Athletics fans will have to wait until the Adelaide Track Classic on 28 January to see Australian 1500m record holder Ryan Gregson back in action.
