Results: 2011 Queanbeyan Gift

Three weeks ago the Queanbeyan Gift was washed out so it was postponed until Saturday the 17th of December, it was a lovely day for the Gift to be held, the sun was shinning and the chance of getting sunburnt was quite high.

The solo adventure to Daegu began with a taxi ride to Heathrow Airport, I know I should have taken the train, but lugging 20kg suitcase and probably a 15kg backpack didn’t really interest me.

Nic Bideau is a man caught in the middle.
800m world record holder David Rudisha is set to again commence his season in Australia, competing over 400m at he Sydney Track Classic and 800m at the Melbourne Track Classic.
Alana Boyd was the standout performer of the Adelaide Track Classic, jumping to a new personal best of 4.61m.
Athletics fans will have to wait until the Adelaide Track Classic on 28 January to see Australian 1500m record holder Ryan Gregson back in action.
